The best way for someone to find (and share) your podcast is through your podcast website. Having a dedicated site for your show will especially make you more discoverable on Google search. It's also easier to share your podcast website on social media. Once visitors land your site, you can highlight all the different ways they can listen (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc).
Your podcast website should have the following elements:
A homepage that describes what the show is about, with the ability to listen to an episode.
Landing pages for each of your episodes, with full show notes.
An "About" page that describes your show in more detail, and introduces the hosts.
A "Subscribe" page that enables people to easily open your podcast in their favorite app.
In 2022, we've released a brand new podcast website builder (and new website designs) on Transistor.
Transistor's web page builder will give you a homepage, a landing page for each of your episodes, an "About" page, and a subscribe page that automatically links to all the apps (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Overcast, etc).
If you have an existing website on Wix, you can easily add a page for your podcast.
To add your podcast to your Wix site:
Go into the site Editor
Go to the "Add Apps" section (you'll find it on the left side of the Editor)
Search for "Podcast Player".
Add it to your Site.
Go get your podcast's RSS feed.
Copy and paste the feed URL into the Wix Podcast Player.
If you use WordPress for your website, you can create a page for your podcast by embedding your latest episode, or a list of episodes:
If you're looking for an automated way to have your podcast show up on WordPress as blog posts, you can use the Podcast Importer plugin.
Many folks using Squarespace for their existing website will embed their podcast on a page:
