Enable OP3 and make your podcasts stats public

The Open Podcast Prefix Project (OP3) is a free analytics service for podcasters. You enable it in your Transistor account as a prefix, which lets you share a public analytics page for your show.

This is an open-source project by John Spurlock, and Transistor is proud to support it. It's based on these principles:

  • Open-source podcast prefix analytics service committed to open data and listener privacy

  • Fully open and auditable infrastructure

  • Open API for logs (and eventually downloads)

You can enable it on your Transistor account by going to your "Settings" and scrolling down to "Advanced Settings."

The Open Podcast Prefix also allows you to publish your stats publicly. Here is an example:

The more podcasters that participate, the more open data the project will be able to generate.
