Easily add podcast guest credits from Bluesky, GitHub, and more

We've just updated our feature that makes it simple to add host and guest credits to your podcast. Now you can automatically import profile information from Bluesky, Mastodon, or GitHub , and other platforms with just a few clicks.

How it to add guest credits to your podcast

  • Go to the "People" section in your Transistor dashboard

  • Paste in a guest's username or profile URL from their social platform

  • Click "Load from [Platform]" to automatically import their:

    • Name

    • Profile photo

    • Bio

    • Social media links

  • Assign them as a host, guest, editor, writer, designer, composer, producer

  • Select which episodes they appear in

All guest information is added to your RSS feed using the podcast person tag, which means podcast apps that support this feature (like TrueFans) will automatically display your host and guest information.

The imported information also appears on your Transistor podcast website, with a dedicated "People" page that shows:

  • A complete list of hosts and guests

  • Which episodes each person appears in

  • Links to their social media profiles

  • Their bio and profile photo

This update eliminates the need to manually upload photos and type in guest information, making it faster and easier to credit everyone who appears on your show.
